The statue of the late Princess Diana fits all the good intentions it was made for. It has been unveiled to the world by her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
The princess, while most famous and well-loved by the people, whose tragic life closed to a tragic end, but the statue, of course, did not focus on tragedy or any bad memories of the past, rather it focused on her heart. The Princess of Wales was well-known for her humanitarian efforts, especially for children, and the statue depicts it so.
Talking of good intentions, the statue seems to have fulfilled one of its purposes, that is, to somehow restore the bond of the two brothers. The statue was commissioned by them in 2017 to mark their mother’s 20th death anniversary. And now, they unveiled it to the world, together. In this respect, the princess still symbolizes the inherent nature of all mothers, that is, to hold the family bonded together.
he memorial statue sits in Kensington Palace–in the Sunken Garden which is one of her favorite sanctuaries in the palace. While many critics have jumped in to many criticisms, a statue, or any artform for that matter, dedicated to somebody, transcends beyond aesthetics.
