It is funny how people crave for coffee. Well, it’s bitter, it’s sweet, it’s creamy—hot or cold it still is a very, very delicious drink. Coffee loving parents swear there is no better way to start their day than by sipping a cup of coffee. It just magically makes them alive and gives them the right amount of energy to go about their day.
Now, here is another reason to love coffee. In a recent study, the risk of liver cancer (including other liver diseases) is lessened by drinking either ground or instant coffee. Three to four cups of joe a day have shown good results. Beyond the four cups though did not show any additional benefits.
Okay, we are all aware of coffee’s health benefits and of having too much of a good thing can be harmful. The experts warned it’s still quite important to have a healthier lifestyle. Protect our liver not only by drinking coffee but also by reducing alcohol intake. Eating healthy foods and exercising is also key.
So bottom line is, drinking coffee is a part of our lifestyle, and just as there are factors that affect our overall health, like a balanced diet and exercise, it should just be a good addition to that.
