At 32 weeks pregnant, you’re on the home stretch. You’re well into the eight-month of your pregnancy and you’re probably seeing more changes.

At 32 weeks, your body is already preparing for giving birth. Due to increased blood flow and hormones, you’ve probably noticed an increase in vaginal discharge. This milky white discharge is one of the normal symptoms of pregnancy at 32 weeks.
However, if the discharge is accompanied by itching or foul odor, make sure to talk to your doctor because it may be a sign of infection.
Your nipples are also getting darker and leaking colostrum. This darkening of nipples helps your baby to find the nipples more easily when it comes time to breastfeed.
Braxton Hicks contractions are harmless and brief tightenings of the uterus. They start happening around halfway through the pregnancy, but they become more obvious as your belly grows.
As with all pregnancy symptoms at 32 weeks, Braxton Hicks usually ranges in severity from woman to woman. You might feel that your uterus is hardening and this tightening sensation can be very uncomfortable.

At this stage, you may be feeling like you’ve been pregnant forever. Heartburn, fatigue and all the other nagging symptoms of pregnancy can do that to you. You may also be finding it more difficult to move around because your belly continues to expand.
From this week until delivery, you’ll be gaining one pound a week. Half of that weight gain is the baby’s and the rest is fluid retention. If you want to avoid bloating, you need to stay away from carbonated beverages and high-sodium food.
Over 90% of women get stretch marks in pregnancy, so try not to obsess over them. They are just a sign that your baby is growing wonderfully.

Baby is getting ready for the big day and is looking more ad more like a newborn. Your little one now weighs almost four pounds and is around 19 inches long.
In the last few weeks of your pregnancy, it’s all about practice. Your growing baby practices breathing motions as well as swallowing, kicking and sucking in preparation for birth. Lanugo, the fine, soft hair that covers your baby’s body begins to disappear and more fat accumulates under baby’s skin.
At 32 weeks, your baby has probably settled into the head-down position in your pelvis in preparation for his/her big debut.

This week should be all about getting ready for when you bring your baby home. Make sure you are eating well in these last few weeks.
Eating smaller but frequent meals and drinking plenty of water will help you fight those annoying pregnancy symptoms like indigestion and heartburn.
Don’t miss any meals as you and your baby need to eat well for a regular supply of energy. Being on an empty stomach for too long may cause acidity.
